About Us
Matthew focuses his practice on investment and financial planning for both individuals and businesses with an emphasis on agricultural producers. Matthew grew up on a farm in Western Kentucky and knows firsthand some of the difficulties farming families face in the areas of tax and estate planning.
Matthew began his career in the investment and financial planning business in early 2002, immediately upon graduation from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics. He continued his education by earning his Certified Financial PlannerTM certification in 2006 and then his Master of Business Administration from Murray State University in 2008. Matthew became a licensed Certified Public Accountant in early 2013.
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, and CFP® in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements.
